Shot in 21 days in the greater Toronto area, Get The Sucker Back, tells the story of Rachel, a naïve eccentric, attempting to con a con-artist to save her grammy’s home from foreclosure. The caper comedy stars Canada’s own Ally Williams as Rachel and Robert Notman as Jacob. Lolade Leigh-Thompson, who wore many hats during the production as writer, director and producer, also makes an appearance in the film as Nadine, the conniving cleaning lady. “I am excited to share my debut feature film, Get The Sucker Back, with the Toronto community.
